A synthetic resin used to create fake nails. The most common method is called “polymethyl methacrylate acrylics” and is a mixture of a liquid (monomer) and a powder (polymer) acrylic that quickly hardens when mixed. Can also be used to refer to acrylic paint, a fast-drying type of pigment.
